A US Psychologist's on Mental Health

After losing his mother suddenly at just ten years old, Ryan Howes saw a therapist to help to process the grief. Inspired by the transformative work, he decided to study to become a psychologist himself. Practising for over 20 years in California, Ryan was instrumental in creating the National Psychotherapy Day in the USA.

He talks with Hamish Williams and psychotherapist Kyle MacDonald about the power of therapy and the similarities and differences between NZ and the USA.

With thanks to NZ on Air.
