Scotty Harvey became crippled by rheumatoid arthritis aged only 30. The medication to manage the pain induced a deep and frightening psychosis which was dismissed by psych-evaluation teams. Scotty lost everything, including his relationship and all his money, eventually declaring bankruptcy.
He shares with Hamish Williams and psychotherapist Kyle MacDonald on how he pulled himself out from a very dark place and used these grounds for motivation to study and qualify as a social worker to support others in need.
