Hare Peri first realised that he was suffering from severe anxiety after he he’d had what turned out to be a massive panic attack while driving and was taken to hospital by ambulance. First, he responded to the his condition by isolating himself for a number of years, but finally took responsibility for himself as he describes, and began using strategies to manage the impact of anxiety on his life. He implemented the cornerstones of a healthy lifestyle; fitness, good diet and meditation. He talks about turning his life around, finding happiness within himself and becoming a better partner with host Hamish Coleman-Ross and psychotherapist Kyle MacDonald, thanks to NZ on Air.
