King Cass Promoting Suicide Awareness

King Cass Promoting Suicide Awareness

Diagnosed with ADHD at age six and medicated until fifteen, Hunter Wilson aka King Cass became familiar with being labelled as a problem child and treated like an outsider.

Managing his own challenges paired with his mother's serious mental health issues, Wilson turned to harmful coping strategies including drug addiction which led to a four month meth-induced psychosis.

He talks to Hamish Williams and psychotherapist Kyle MacDonald about learning to find value in himself as an adult, using hiphop to raise awareness for suicide prevention and helping young people find purpose and direction.
